Philly Art Museum Proposal Photos || Mike & Dakota || BG Productions Photography
Every great wedding starts with a great proposal! And we get so excited about every aspect of your love, not just on the wedding day. So when we get contacted to photograph a proposal, you know we’re all in. And even better when it’s a total surprise! How many of you out there wished that you had photos of your proposal? It’s something truly special that you only have once, so why not have photos to look back on forever. These Philly Art Museum Proposal photos are just so sweet!
Mike contacted us awhile back and let us in on his plans to propose to his then girlfriend Dakota. They are actually from Tampa, FL and Mike works for the Sheriff’s office down there. As you can imagine, with Hurricane Maria going through the state it was undecided if they could make their trip to Philly as planned. He has been working lots of long hours with recent hurricanes affecting their area. But luckily they were able to get away and he could do everything he planned while in Philadelphia. They had plans to go to a Penn State game (where Mike went to school) but first, a special stop at the Philly Art Museum!
I knew I wouldn’t be able to capture their proposal because we already had a wedding booked that day. But that’s why we have an amazing team of photographers so you can always count on us for all your moments that need photographs. Our awesome possum lead associate shooter Jen shot these fun Philly Art Museum proposal photos for us! You can tell by the photos Dakota had no idea Jen was even there snapping away as Mike got down on one knee and revealed his surprise. And guess what folks, SHE SAID YES! Congratulations Mike and Dakota! We are so happy to have captured this very special moment for the both of you.
