Philadelphia Waterworks Wedding || Lauren + Ryan || BG Productions (Flat World Weddings)
We have met and worked with Ryan several times and were thrilled when he and Lauren reached out to BG Productions Photography (Soon to be combined with our commercial side and become Flat World Weddings). They were getting married at one of our favorite locations, The Water Works and Cescsphe Events. This Philadelphia Water Works Wedding was just so amazing!
For some reason all our weddings at this location this year had a touch of rain. That’s ok though – We had a plan and it was great that the rain stopped for even just a few minutes after their ceremony. The couple didn’t do a first look so we were thrilled we were able to get so many Amazing wedding portraits of them. Despite having a very wet ground and the threat of the rains pouring down. But we had our trusty clear umbrellas ready at the first sign of rain drops!
Ryan is in the food industry and one of my favorite moments of the night was him and Lauren seeing the reception room. They were thrilled with what Cescaphe and Matlack Florist did with the space. And Ryan made a point to shake hands with the chefs and cooking staff. Such a cool and classy move. But that is the kind of couple they are. They were so wonderful to work with – so laid-back and madly in Love! That’s our peeps!
The most beautiful wedding dress
I loved her dress by Sarah Seven. It was so stunning and it looked amazing on Lauren. It was the perfect dress for her style and the location of the wedding. Pro tip: Don’t forget to keep in mind how your dress with match your location. It helps bring your wedding day vision to life and also allows you to have as much ease as possible. Why have a giant ball gown on a beach, right?
The guys (photographed by Al) took the subway from their house. They seemed to have a blast on the way. Goofing off, posing, looking like they stepped out of an indie film, so fun! Lauren, her mom and bridesmaids got ready at the Water works. We love that there is a nice bridal suite there. It is always less stressful to get ready in your location when you are able!
Their ceremony was super sweet and the reception a grand party. We are so thrilled they chose BG Productions Photography (Flat World Weddings) to capture it all!
