Philadelphia Free Library Wedding Photography || Anne & Aaron

People ask us all time – what are some of our favorite Philadelphia wedding venues. And the Philadelphia Free Library always makes the top of the list. It is really such a cool venue. Having your ceremony in an old and beautiful library with the reception on the rooftop overlooking the city… How does it get any better than that? You’ll have to see for yourself with Anne and Aaron’s Philadelphia Free Library wedding photography. (And an added bonus, we always love working with the staff at Bruleé catering! Amazing vendors really make for an amazing wedding, location aside.)

Anne and Aaron will always share something very special with us. We also got married on June 16 (of course ours was 11 years earlier). When we met this adorable couple, we just knew we had to be the ones to capture it. We all shared so much in common, including be an interracial couple and being married on the same date! After a venue change they ended up at the Free Library because of images they saw of ours from there. How Awesome is that!! We seriously love the Philadelphia Free Library for weddings. The whole day was just perfection. They got ready at the Sheraton and that’s is where we did their first look. I’m not typically fond of doing first looks at a hotel but we found the perfect location. And actually, I can’t wait to shoot there again.

A day of amazing photos

We went over the Rodin and the Barnes for their bride and groom portraits and then their wedding party joined us. All I can say is OMG! How adorable are these two. Just so perfectly in love and Anne looked Ah-MAZING! But so did Aaron – his look was Perfection! And if you follow us at all you know how much I Love it when bridesmaids get to pick out their own dresses – style and all! And all these women looked so great as well.

Their ceremony was sweet and romantic. Which was followed by a super fun reception on the Rooftop Terrace overlooking the city skyline! The food by Brulee was wonderful as well. And it was so nice of the couple to make sure we had seats at a guest table with everyone else. (This is really important so that we never miss any important event at your reception. Tip to any future brides and grooms reading this!) As I have mentioned before, we seriously have the best clients. And we’re really are more like old friends by the time the wedding day rolls around! (Tip #2 to those planning your wedding – client/photographer relationship is VERY important. You’re not just a client to us, you’re part of the BMO family!)

And while their honeymoon in Nicaragua is delayed a bit (they fell in love with our trip photos and blog posts on Flat World Travel. We’re so happy to offer the honeymoon travel inspiration!) We know when Nicaragua doesn’t have so much student unrest they will fall in love with it as much as we did!

Love this Philadelphia Free Library Wedding. Yes, the photographer and client relationship is so important, and you can see that the couple felt totally comfortable in front of the lens with BG Productions. My absolute favorite is the ringshot with library cards. Definitely a must for that 8×10 print!
