A Philadelphia Wedding at Morris House Hotel & Union Trust | Christina + Jared
Talk about a stunning Philadelphia Wedding! Christina and Jared were a little unconventional and split up their wedding at different venues. Their ceremony was at the Morris House Hotel and their reception at Union Trust. I love that they had their ceremony outside at the Morris House. While it was very hot out that day, it’s the perfect place for an outdoor ceremony.
The couple lives in California and we had the chance to go to dinner a few months ago when they were in town to come up with a great plan for the day. This is such a cool and laid back couple. We share a love for travel, and Christina is a pilot! How AWESOME! I wonder if she has ever flown a plane that we’ve been on. And she had a whole group of other female pilots at the wedding and they were all gorgeous!! (Make sure to check out the group shot at the end of the night)
Both Christina and Jared got ready at the Hotel Monaco. They didn’t have a wedding party per se- just family members who walked down the aisle and Jared’s son played a big part in their day. And can we talk about that ring Dog! Just so cute! I love the dress Christina wore that showed off that Awesome wolf tattoo. I think it is great when women choose a dress that show off their tats! And I love wolves – so this one was even more spectacular!
Our favorite part of the day – Portraits
After the ceremony the couple headed over to the 2nd National Bank with the BMO Team for some fun and gorgeous wedding portraits. It’s something special when there is no wedding party and we get to spend so much time just capturing the love between the beautiful couple. And since it was so hot out we were thankful not to have a large group with us for the day.
Union Trust is always such a great place for a reception. I love all the colorful lighting and especially for those fun end-of-the-night shots. And working with Thomas, who runs the show over there, is always a smooth and fun night. Another cool thing Christina and Jared did at the end of the night was switch over to karaoke for an after-hours party! We stayed awhile and got some great photos of Jared singing!
We know this couple in is for a lifetime of adventure. You should see their honeymoon photos from Bora Bora. So jealous!
