The Inn at Villanova University Wedding || Jacquelyn and Jaime
There are so many great places at the University of Villanova for photos. We love when couples get married in the chapel there. That is always an important location for Villanova students and alumni. And Jaime and Jacquelyn were no exception. They were thrilled to put their names on the list to have their ceremony at the beautiful church there. But what I really enjoy is the reception at the Inn at Villanova University. There are some really great photo spots. This Inn at Villanova University wedding looked just like an English garden, so charming.
Jacquelyn and Jaime met during their freshman year at Villanova. Jaime is from Puerto Rico and Jacquelyn grew up in California and Hawaii (you will see touches of this in their flowers and décor). So it was fate that they met.
We started their day getting ready with the ladies. The bride had a room of her own to put her dress on, while the girls were able to get ready another room. Lots of room and talk about such pretty light. I love her dress by Lillian West. But my favorite piece had to be her necklace. It is actually a family heirloom and the earrings were the same ones her mom wore at her own wedding. How sweet is that! The couple wasn’t doing a first look so we did a bunch of photos beforehand, the guys over at the church and girls at the Inn.
Saint Thomas of Villanova Church is AMAZINGLY beautiful.
It’s such a romantic place for a wedding. And we were able to get some really cool photos on the bridge. And some great drone photos and video before heading to the Inn.
The reception was filled with heartfelt toasts and lots of dancing. It was also Jaime’s birthday as well as Jacquelyn’s brothers’. Everybody wore birthday hats, sang happy birthday and they blew out the candles. I love how this wedding truly was a family affair. We had such a great time. We hope they have a wonderful time on their trip to Greece and then to Naples.
