If you’ve been following us for a while, you’ve probably seen that we are avid travelers. We’ve been so lucky to be able to travel for work and capture some really cool content all over the world. Years ago we decided to include a lot more destination weddings and intimate elopements to our resume as travel photographers and videographers. We even have a whole IG dedicated to our love of travel and what we’ve created along the way. Follow us here! So this St. Lucia wedding photography was like a dream job come true.
The Sandals Grande resort in St. Lucia is just perfect!! I mean WOW – It’s so pretty there that it doesn’t even look real. Their wedding ceremony took place in a chapel over the water at the end of a pier, hovering over the ocean. The quaint chapel was all white walls with the most amazing view out of its open doors and windows. It really transported you to a whole other world. And that couldn’t be more perfect, as then the couple could really just focus on each other.

Talk about a sweet couple. Allen is a minister and Cyndie is so supportive and kind. Before the ceremony, we took a few moments before their first look so they could say a prayer together. What a great first look idea, such a special moment and so them! And then once they finally saw each other, the magic carried on throughout the day.
We were able to get some really cool drone footage of the day. What better way to show the landscape and overall vibe for a destination wedding. It’s a super unique view that not every photo/video team can get for you. But any time we can travel with the drone we do so we can get those killer shots. Keep in mind there are sometimes rules and regulations when traveling with a drone. And it’s not always possible too. Al is a certified FAA drone pilot so you can always count on us knowing what we can and cannot do with the drone.
If you look at one of the drone shots of the beach, you’ll see a little white tent. That is where the reception was held on the beach of the Sandals Grande resort in St. Lucia. Literally, a tent on the sand. How awesome is that. Everyone could take their shoes off and really connect with the earth and feel the love around them. Slap a dance floor right on the sand, and you’ve got yourself a real party! A special shout out to Donielle Warren, owner of Elegant Events. She did an amazing job with this wedding, everything was so beautiful!
