October Jersey Shore Wedding || Same Sex NJ Wedding photographer || Antonio & Lou
Weddings on the beach in the summer are fun, but an October Jersey Shore wedding is amazing too! You may think it’s “off season” because it’s not 100 degrees but we are totally fine with that! It’s so awesome to get out of the city and stroll around a beach town. Especially when there’s no expectation to be literally on the beach and deal with all that pesky sand. (Sand + photo and video equipment don’t mix. Of course when we shoot a wedding on the beach it’s great too, just certain precautions you have to take) And we had the pleasure of being Antonio and Lou’s same sex NJ wedding photographer.
We love each and every one of our BG shooters, but it’s not every day Al and I get to do photos together on a wedding day. Lovers taking photos of lovers, so fun! Al is usually on video and in this case it was very intimate without a crowd. Now back to these two handsome grooms and their wedding day…
They were married at Antonio’s father’s restaurant in Longport NJ called Catch. A very lovely place and everything was great. They got ready together at Caesars in Atlantic City (We love when couples get ready together!). And then did some photos on boardwalk, stopping by Lucy the elephant of course since it is such an iconic landmark. The wind was blowing a lot and it got pretty chilly so they did ceremony inside instead. That’s a 50/50 chance you take with an October wedding, especially on the Jersey Shore.
