The encampment by @up.against.the.occupation at the University of Pennsylvania is beautiful. Young people are the change makers. And these young people are kicking ass!!
It totally brings me back to being a college student at Kent State University and getting involved in the anti-apartheid movement for South Africa. We too were calling for divestment and it worked!! DON`T EVER DOUBT THE POWER YOU HAVE ♥️
And I love my nephews @gabaoboys so much who got up early to take supplies over to the students. @suzen14 is teaching them young. ( We also all matched together for Black Lives Matter during the George Floyd protests.)
If you can go through and bring some donated items they have a wish list on their Instagram. For photographers and videographers I know, don`t just show up trying to take imagery. I left all my gear at home and only took photos with my phone and never took close up pictures of people unless I had their permission. This isn`t the time to try to build your protest portfolio. Especially if you haven`t been outspoken and part of the movement already. Just give your time and supplies. Keep these students safe by not exposing them!

This is the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, Morocco.
I think traveling and learning about different cultures and people is one of the most important things one can do to expand beyond stereotypes.
