New Jersey Woman's Project

We did a photo & video series with Beth Lawrence Co and The New Jersey Historical Society highlighting six different non profits and the role NJ women played in history. We created virtual tours for them, a fun and helpful service we offer.

Bamboo Brook – the former home of Martha Brookes Hutcheson
Vineland Museum – the oldest local historical society in New Jersey. It was prominent in the causes of abolition of slavery,
the end of child labor, prison reform, and women’s suffrage.
The Old Barracks Museum, also known as Old Barracks, in Trenton is the only remaining colonial barracks in New Jersey.
Palisades – a beautiful landscape area in NJ that a group of women worked to save the land and have it preserved.
Stoutsburg Sourland African American History Museum learned about Judith Blu – The museum discovered a record that she, A free black woman that voted in NJ before the 19th amendment was passed giving women the right to vote.
Whitesbog – Whitesbog Village is a historic company town and farm with 25 historic buildings, blueberry farm fields, cranberry bogs, hiking trails, reservoirs, streams, a picnic grove and the Elizabeth White Gardens.
