Our flush mount albums are true photographic print albums created as a stand-alone portrait album, or a duplicate parent album for your weddings. They  have seamless, full-spread pages (prints mounted edge-to-edge) and your choice of standard “skinny” page styling or thicker “xtra” page styling. They also make great guestbooks for weddings (your engagement photos), anniversaries (your wedding photos), baby showers (your maternity photos), and so on. These are not press-books (meaning ordinary paper bound0. They are the ultimate photo book, featuring high quality Fuji lustre photographic paper or deep matte paper. There are so many cover options and upgrades to chose from. Flush mount albums are the upgraded metal cover with white core board pages that comes in a presentation box. And our most popular lay flat album features enhanced eco felt paper with a picture/linen fusion cover.

All flush mount albums are lay flat books, but not all lay flat books are flush mounts.

Lay flat photo books have a type of binding that allows the pages to stay open and remain completely flat, so you don’t have to hold down the pages while viewing it. A flush mount photo album is a type of lay flat photo album. Flush mount photo albums differ from other digital press printed photo books as they are printed on actual photo paper and then mounted onto a sturdy backing.  As a result, the pages are thicker and do not bend as easily as a digitally printed photo book. Flush mount albums are an upscale version on a lay flat album. I think of them as an heirloom to be cherished and possibly handed down to future generations.

When ordering photo albums, first think about the design and look that you want. Then think about who would also like a smaller version of your album (parent albums are duplicates but not quite as fancy). And then think about other fun options like accordion books (watch our video to see an accordion book in action)!
