Historic Strawberry Mansion Wedding

Historic Strawberry Mansion Wedding Photography | Cecelia & Dave (Again)

Here we have a couple of our favorite people and couples ~ Cecelia and Dave! We photographed their wedding AGAIN and we couldn’t have been more excited to celebrate with them again. They first got married in June 2020 (you know, peak COVID lockdown). See their NJ Backyard Micro wedding blog here. So as you can imagine, however beautiful and perfect it was, it was not the wedding of Cece and Dave’s dreams. It was so special in it’s own way too though. We have truly come to LOVE micro weddings and elopements in the past couple of years. But this Historic Strawbery Mansion wedding (wedding #2 for them together!) was just everything.

Two very different weddings for these two, but also very similar. Because in the end, both days were really just about Cece and Dave’s love and celebrating that. More friends and family could witness their vows and party down with them this time around!

Advice from the bride and groom

We just love asking our brides and grooms about their personal experience of their wedding day and the planning process. Our hopes are that it will motivate others in their wedding planning and offer some guidance. So are you planning a wedding? And more importantly, are you planning a wedding at the Historic Strawberry Mansion in Philadelphia? Let us help you make the perfect wedding plans! (Hint hint, it starts with hiring BeauMonde Originals for your wedding photography and videography. You won’t regret it!)

How did you two meet?
We were introduced by a mutual friend.

Tell us about the proposal:
He proposed with a piece of paper. The whole story is in the Philly Inquirer!

Before your wedding day, what were you most excited about?
Dancing with friends and family, the wedding in general. We had to postpone the large ceremony due to covid so we were like it’s finally here!

Looking back now, what were your favorite parts of your wedding day?
Our favorite parts of the day were walking down the aisle, the reception, and after party.

Tell us about some of your details / styling / decor and why did you choose them?
We called our style elevated natural. We wanted to look like ourselves and wanted the space to speak for itself. The natural landscape was so beautiful that we didn’t need to do much.

Do you have any advice for brides/grooms to be when planning their wedding that you wish you knew?
Plan for those last minute decor/amazon purchases!
